Keith Sirchio moved to New York in 1992 to study cinematography at the School of Visual Arts. After three years of study and twice as many working in the field shooting music videos and independent films, he found himself more intrigued taking stills of what was happening behind the scenes; between the takes. Since trading in the movie camera for something he can hang around his neck, Keith has served time at an internship at Magnum Photos, has been published in various magazines, newspapers, and featured in the photography book, “Backyard Shakedown” released by Upper Playground. He uses the camera to explore and illuminate moments that may go unnoticed by another’s eye.
